Thank you for your take on weighted yarn. I was taught to put cans in the lower area while it drys. I like your philosophy better:) The alpaca is gorgeous. I have some I need to practice with. But I feel my best yarn is still still 100% wool.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09819849617708401547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8579899.post-52518889174063677602007-05-23T10:07:00.000-04:002007-05-23T10:07:00.000-04:00Oh Cary I love when you update! You know as someone who grew up with wild naturally wavy hair in the 70s-80s when everyone wore straight hair I can really attest to the fact that it ALWAYS springs back with the slightest bit of moisture! LOL Anyway I have several skeins to wash and hang and was wondering what to do. What you wrote makes a lot of sense. I think it is of more concern to me, a beginning spinner than for you. :o) Hannah's shawl will be lovely. I can't wait to see it unfold. I love Jackie's patterns too. Your other spinning is lovely too.Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14823569540636658598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8579899.post-34373955157429618742007-05-22T07:58:00.000-04:002007-05-22T07:58:00.000-04:00Oooh, I'm with you sister on the Faroese style sha...Oooh, I'm with you sister on the Faroese style shawls..LOVE knitting them :) I can't wait to see the progress on it!

Your spinning is beautiful, as always, and I only wish that we lived closer and you could be my spinning Yoda :P ...sigh...one of these days I'll have a wheel...Did you see the yarn I made with my drop spindle?
