I just haven't been enjoying any of my knitting projects lately. It's making me sad, actually, and I hope it passes soon. I have been doing a little bit of spinning ~
I've been in a real slump too, but I just finished the Adama cowl and had fun with it so I'm hoping that's going to set me back right. Of course, spinning is pretty fun too :-).
Beautiful spinning! The knitting in the photo is just gorgeous too! Sometimes when I have a knitting slump I will do plain old square dishcloths or plain ribbed hats. Once I get bored with those, then I'll take off with something more complicated and beautiful. Big hugs to fight the slump :0)
Try a smaller project, for instance a toy. I found designer Amanda Berry on raverly and I will probably try a lot more than just the puffy heart I posted. I had trouble with small projects because dpn's weren't fun for me, but her ornaments/ toys are knitted flat and now I'm pumped to try more of her designs.

Your yarn is beautiful, as always! Hope you are energized soon with your knitting. I just went through a period of that and it is finally coming back. I picked up the crochet hook for a while and had fun with that. Not only that, Cary, but if you aren't liking a project, you can rip it out. :) So often we think we need to finish it, even if we don't like it. I give you permission to rip, if need be. Hahaha! Then make something else that you absolutely love.

It's lovely Cary. I've been piecing quilt blocks, changing it up a bit, visiting some old skills. I've even been thinking about finding my rug hooking.
I've been doing a lot of spinning and putting off those UFPs. I have great plans for this new yarn, I'd better finish using up the old. :)
